Josie is a Physical Therapist who has been practicing primarily in the outpatient setting in central Nebraska since 2009. Josie has a special interest in treating people with neurological and vestibular diagnoses. She enjoys helping individuals regain function and independence in their daily lives and developing relationships with her patients, their families and caregivers.
Josie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2009. She holds certifications in Bioness Functional Electrical Stimulation and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) BIG exercise program designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Josie also holds an adjunct faculty position with the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s division of Physical Therapy as a lab assistant and serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.
Josie and her husband John live in Kearney and have two boys, Myles and Finn. She enjoys spending time with her family, running and doing home renovation projects.
