DeAnn is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of combined healthcare experience. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her BSN in 2006 and started her career as a labor, delivery, and postpartum nurse, which she did for 13 years. She has worked in an outpatient surgical center as a preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nurse and as a clinical application specialist nurse. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and began working in the outpatient and inpatient settings in the specialties of Cardiology followed by Gastroenterology.
As a family nurse practitioner, she has been trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. That means she can assess, diagnose, and treat many conditions that present. She also knows that patients with complex conditions sometimes need to see a physician or a specialist. She is passionate about the care of the whole family across their lifespan, with a particular interest in women’s health and wellness. She wants to ensure patients receive the highest quality care possible. She believes that the best way to do that is by providing patients with accurate and complete information about their conditions to make informed decisions. DeAnn is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
